Brother and sister, Aiden and Sarah Cooper, find a coded letter in a secret compartment in their father’s desk. It is signed by someone named Magill. Sarah recognizes the name from the Starcatcher’s series about Peter Pan. As they figure out the clue it gives, they find themselves sorting out a puzzle that is more serious than they realize. Only when they realize the truth about the Starcatcher’s series, do they find out how serious it truly is.

I found the fact that this book kept talking about the Starcatcher’s series (another book by Ridley Pearson and Dave Barry) very annoying, but once I got over that, I really enjoyed this book. It was full of magic and  adventure. I couldn’t stop reading it. It is a wonderful take on the Peter Pan story.
