Endlessly is one of the best ways to end a series. There was so much going on that I would get lost in the pace of the story in just a few pages. There would be a new problem every few pages and at times it became a bit overwhelming, but the story itself is pretty good and worth any confusion caused by the plot.

Evie and Lend are finally able to be together and have the normal life they’ve always wanted. That is, until she stumbles upon a group of paranormals in the clearing, having a meeting with Lend’s mother. Shocked, she learns that the gate to the world from which they came is about to close forever and that she is their only hope in getting home. Even worse, the Dark Queen of the Unseelie Court attacks the diner, looking for Evie, leaving death in her wake. As if that isn’t enough, IPCA has undergone major changes and their new leader, Anne-Laurie LaFevre, is determined to get Evie back on their side and to keep the paranormals on earth, no matter what it takes. With time running out and life getting harder and harder by the second, Evie must make some of the hardest decisions of her life and lose some of those she loves along the way.

One of my favorite things about this book is that the fast pace made it feel as if I was reading two books rather than one, so that I wasn’t as sad about this series ending. Evie, Lend, and everyone else all come together and will go out with a bigger bang than I ever imagined.
