by Libba Bray
During the Roaring Twenties, Evie O’Neal is absolutely thrilled when her parents exile her to New York City to live with her Uncle in his creepy-crawly museum. At least she’s thrilled until her pocket gets picked by a (very cute) thief and a terrifying murderer starts stalking the city. However, Evie is more than just your average flapper. With her and her new friends’ unique skills, she just might be the only one who can save the city.
We’ve been very excited about this book, and we’ve been passing our reader all around the store. hands. Here’s Laura’s thoughts on it:
“EEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPP!!!! This is only word that I could think of that accurately describes my feelings for this amazing book. The Diviners was a heart-stopping thriller that had me shaking with suspense and anticipation. Set in the mid 1920’s, I was enraptured by the pos-i-tute-ly amazing flapper era and all that came with it. Libba Bray has once again amazed me with her writing, and continues her legacy as one of my favorite teen fantasy authors of all time.”
