Review: What’s Left of Me

Addie and Eva were born into the same body, two different souls sharing everything. That’s the way everyone is now. But at five or six, one of the souls is supposed to just fade away. This didn’t happen for Addie and Eva. Eva was supposed to go, but she fought. Finally at age thirteen, the doctors told Addie and Eva’s parents that Eva had faded. Except she hadn’t. She couldn’t control their body, but she was still there. She watched, felt, tasted, heard, and smelled everything through their body, but all she could do was speak to Addie in their mind. Then, they discover a way for Eva to move, to speak, but the consequences of being found out are deadly.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Everything about it was hooking. I can’t wait for the next book. The secrets are revealed at just the right moments and leave just enough questions to draw the reader in to read “just another page, just another chapter” until you’ve finished the whole book.
