Review: Mila 2.0

I think books like MILA 2.0 might be one of my new favorite genres to read. The sci-fi thrillers of the world are just enthralling, and MILA 2.0 was up there with Beta for me. It’s well-written, addicting, and has a new strong female lead!

Mila was a character with so many layers. She starts off as this girl who is struggling to move past her father’s death, but as the story unfolds and Mila discovers more about her past, she builds up this strong, kick-butt personality I love.

The plotline of MILA 2.0 was action-packed with dramatic scenes back to back! Once I got into the book, I couldn’t stop reading. The discovery of Mila’s true identity pulls you in, and I loved how Debra Driza uncovered Mila’s identity piece by piece. One of my favorite part of the book though, was Mila’s love interest, Hunter. It is so refreshing. He’s funny, kind, and deeply cares about Mila. The best part though is that the story isn’t about Hunter&Mila, but instead it’s about Mila, with a bit of Hunter on the side, but that’s not to say I don’t really want more of their relationship in the next book. It’ll be interesting to see how their relationship unfolds over the series!

For fans of Beta and other sci-fi thrillers, MILA 2.0 is the book for you!
