“Have you ever wondered what it’s like inside the head of a genius? How about a highly functioning Aspergers genius? I bet you do now. Collin Fischer is a freshman in high school. Because of his talents and many, many, MANY quirks, one of which being the inability to read facial expressions well, he has been labeled as a weirdo by most and successfully flys incognito. All of that changes for Collin, when a student brings a gun to school and it is accidentally fired in the middle of the crowded school cafeteria (the fact that a birthday celebration was taking place further adds to the confusion). The obvious suspect, Wayne Connelly, is immediately apprehended, and the school attempts to regain normalcy. However, Collin knows the truth. Wayne didn’t do it. Being, well, being Collin, Collin sets out to prove it. His comical adventure will take him from the study of eating habits to local gang hideouts in pursuit of the truth. This is by far one of the funniest detective story I have ever read. Collin’s unusual perspective in 1st person allows for a strange tale that seems to focus on the smallest of details, until a connection is made and we see Collin for the unlikely, and unsuspected, detective he is.   Add this to his many quirks, and we have a super sleuth ready to take stage. I hope you enjoy it as I have.”
