Hannah and Zoe are best friends living in a dead-end town, looking for any chance to get out. They embark on a road trip to put all of their troubles behind them. Zoe wants more for Hannah, so she teaches her about life’s intangible things.
The Museum of Intangible Things is an epic love story, but not in the romantic sense. It’s about the bond between two childhood friends, bipolar disorders, struggling with deadbeat parents, and a dead-end town. It was interesting to see how the author depicted a disease like bipolar and made it come off as realistic in young adult fiction, because it’s not something you see very often. I would recommend this book to all fans of contemporary fiction.
