It’s 2113 and thanks to Acid, the most brutal police force in history, Jenna Strong’s life is ruined. Jenna is stuck in prison for life for something she barely remembers. When a group breaks her out of prison, Jenna’s life changes and she’s not sure who to trust and what to do to find her way.

I loved this book so much. It was nonstop action to the end and has a romance on the side. I really liked Max, a criminal according to ACID, because he was very kind and helpful to Jenna except for one misunderstanding. My least favorite character was one of the prisoners at the very beginning of the book. I didn’t like him at all because he doesn’t know the meaning of boundaries and he just seems like a pig and I was glad when Jenna escaped prison because I couldn’t stand that guy. I really loved this book because of how it’s placed in the future. No one has seen a normal paper book in centuries and no one knows what public libraries are. As for cell phones and 12 hour time, those where long ago forgotten. I love seeing what other people think the future will be like and that’s why I liked this book so much. If you’re looking for a action packed book this is definitely perfect for you!
