Other authors that we are excited about are Marie Lu (The Young Elites), Scott Westerfeld (Afterworlds), A.S. King (Glory O’Brien’s History of the Future), Andrew Smith (100 Sideways Miles), and Gayle Foreman (If I Stay).
The #TTBF14 will take place on Saturday, October 18, from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. on the St. Edward’s University campus. The event – and parking – is free and open to the public.
“This year’s festival is THE one to attend,” says librarian and Fest founder Heather Schubert. “You’ll find amazing keynotes, interactive events, writing workshops, a hilarious game show, and much, much more. Expect to leave with a list of new favorite authors and a stack of books you can’t wait to read!”
We totally agree! We are also really looking forward to the super entertaining and funny Game Show. Authors are separated into teams and compete in a variety of ridiculous and brain-bending challenges. The teams this year will be led by Marie Lu (The Legend trilogy) and Paolo Bacigalupi (Ship Breaker).
We are going to get planning our day at the Fest so we don’t miss anything. See you there!
