Lucy, George, and Anthony (more commonly known as the Lockwood family) find themselves in a pickle. Financially and socially humiliated after accidentally burning down a clients house, trying to get rid of a ghost, they take on one of the most dangerous cases known to ghost hunters. Although this book was not at all what I was expecting, it was one of the best books I have read in a while.
I really loved all the action that took place during the ghost scenes and the spookiness of the story. My favorite character is Lockwood, the leader and owner of the business that George and Lucy work at. Lockwood seems like a really easygoing guy and easy to get along with. It also sounds like he’s pretty cute and he takes care of his teammates. My least favorite character is Fairfax, the guy who gave them the most dangerous mission. I never really liked him because, although he seems nice from the start, I always found something weird about the way he acts and speaks. In the end I really liked the book, and throughout the whole thing I couldn’t stop thinking of what it be like to see a ghost and what would it be like trying to get rid of it.
If you are looking for a book with a lot of ghost action and barely any romance, this is a book you would enjoy. I know I did!
