Harper’s life is perfect. She’s popular, goes to a good school, her family’s rich, and there’s nothing stopping her from doing what she wants – until her dad finds her credit card statements. Her parents decide that her punishment is to be sent off to her dad’s childhood summer camp for four weeks. What starts off as a rocky week, soon turns into a roller coaster for the better and the worse. When I started reading this book I thought it was going to be one of those boring girly books. Although it had some “girly” parts, it was good and kept me entertained throughout the entire read.
My least favorite character is Harper’s so called best friend named Kate. Kate only likes to hang out with Harper because of her money, and the fact that she meets tons of celebrities (due to her dad’s job). My favorite charter is Ethan – Harper’s summer camp boyfriend. Although in the beginning Ethan was quick to judge Harper, he later realized what she was truly like, and saw that she wasn’t just some stuck up rich kid. And it’s perfect if you’re stuck at home in this cold with nothing to do this summer, or spring break, or even a weekend. A good read!
