Since it’s Women’s History Month, we’re talking about all the female characters that get us pumped up!
Aurora:
“I read Graceling a long time ago, but I still love Katsa. Her independence and strength has always been amazing to me. She was one of the first female characters that impacted me with her words and actions and one of the reasons I started reading so much.”
Haley:
“Celaena Sardothien is my OG inspiration! She’s arguably the fiercest, most determined, kick-butt heroine I’ve ever read.”
Xander:
“Mim Malone from Mosquitoland – she’s amazing!
Adelina from The Young Elites – she’s a bad ass who will fight for people and get revenge.
Luna Lovegood – she’s herself and doesn’t care what people think about her!”
Ivy:
“I am most inspired by Cath from Fangirl. Although this does seem like a dumb, stereotypical answer, her love for writing and her social anxiety are things I can relate to on a very deep level.”
Colleen:
“Probably Feyre from ACOTAR by Sarah J. Maas. She was so strong and overcame so much and I just relate to her a ton.”
Gustavo:
“Meg Murry from A Wrinkle in Time”
Maddy:
“Wonder Woman from Leigh Bardugo’s Wonder Woman: Warbringer. Her character has the expectations of the world on her shoulders, but she still always does what she believes to be right while kicking ass. She doesn’t let anything stop her.”
