REVIEW: SAVE THE DATE
BY: MORGAN MATSON
REVIEW BY: COLLEEN
Save The Date by Morgan Matson was so fun and captivating. It had the perfect balance of frustration and success, characters and catastrophe, loss and discovery.
I loved the character dynamics and how they showed the importance of relationships, old and new. I found myself rooting for Charlie and her sister with all of my heart throughout all of the wedding disasters because the writing was so engaging and the intensity of Charlie’s emotions really pulled me in.
Some tears were shed. I laughed a lot. Some more tears were shed. I got all the warm, happy feelings.
I really enjoyed reading this book (as I do with most of Morgan’s work), and I loved the family aspect of it. I found myself wishing I was part of the Grant family with all of their crazy adventures and inside jokes. It was a wonderful feeling and a wonderful read.
