Deep and dark, The Wicker King explored the teenage brain, and what can happen to it when neglected. An awesome exploration of human connections, displaying a spiraling relationship the audience can do nothing about. It was a frustrating and sad book, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel, as you can see when the literally dark stained pages grow lighter. Rating: Four/Five
