A Court of Thorns and Roses Movie is Coming!!!
Sarah J. Maas recently announced that Tempo Productions and Constantin Film has optioned ACOTAR for a movie! They are working to adapt our favorite huntress’s story for the big screen and Sarah is excited about the process so far, posting a picture of the screenplay’s cover on her instagram with an exclamation- filled caption.
@therealsjmaas So, this just landed on my desk (!!!!!!). Link in bio for more details/ updates on the movie! Quick heads up: There’s still a long way to go before we see this on the big screen! Constantin and Tempo are the team behind the scenes, and they are working so hard and so passionately to adapt these nooks and assemble the right group of people to bring it to life. We’re still looking for a director with the perfect vision for this movie, as well as a stellar cast, but I’m already super excited that they brought on the awesome Rachel Hirons to write the screenplay. Fingers crossed!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Clearly Sarah has both high hopes and high expectations for the movie, just like us fans. The movie is a long way off and historically book to movie adaptations don’t meet expectations,but I’m excited nonetheless.
On a side note, Throne of Glass was also picked up by Hulu to be made into a TV series and though information and progress on it seems to be sparse, it’s also exciting.
Sometime in the future, we’ll be seeing Feyre and Celaena come to life! I’ll keep you guys posted on updates regarding the movie and tv series as more information is released. Until then, stay excited! 🙂

Oh my gosh! We didn’t know ACOTAR was going to become a movie! That’s insane! We are equally excited and nervous! Hopefully it stays true to the novel, and of course, casts the characters well!
I think half of our meeting the next week was just about how excited we were for this movie!
